Our organic green oats are characterized by a low starch and sugar content, as well as a high crude fiber content, making them a healthy concentrated feed for your horse. This is because they are harvested shortly after flowering, before the starch in the grain can even develop. Therefore, even though its name is misleading, it is not a grain, but belongs to the grass family.
Green oats have a metabolism-stimulating, digestion-promoting, and diuretic effect. This supports natural detoxification and strengthens the immune system.
In our drying facility, the entire plant, including both the kernel and the stalk, is gently dried and then processed into corn cobs. This ensures that all essential amino acids, vitamins, trace elements, and other important nutrients are retained in the plant.
The convenient cob shape makes organic green oats easy to store and feed. Since the cobs only need to be soaked, they are also well-suited for horses with dental or chewing problems.
