Organic Thermal Hay Small Bales (pallet with 15 bales and approx. 390 kg)

Our herbal and thermal hay should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated place. This is the only way to ensure the best feed quality for your horse. Make sure the hay is also protected from contamination by small animals such as mice and birds.

Furthermore, it should be protected from high humidity, otherwise mold may develop during storage.

If it is possible to store the hay in an enclosed space, the stretch film in which it is delivered can be removed. If the humidity at the storage location (e.g., an open barn) is too high, we recommend leaving the film on to prevent the hay from absorbing moisture.

During the summer months with low humidity, the foil should be removed to prevent condensation from forming underneath it..

Our organic thermal hay consists of up to 40 different
Grass and herb varieties that contain a wide range of vitamins and trace elements
supply. Ryegrass and other fast-growing grasses and poisonous plants such as
Autumn crocuses are not included in our hay.

The main components include:

Meadow fescue, orchardgrass, Kentucky bluegrass
Meadow foxtail, bentgrass (white and red), meadow fescue, sweet vernal grass, and many more.

As well as many different herbs, including:

Dandelion, yarrow, broadleaf plantain, ribwort plantain,
Red clover, oregano, thyme, wild carrot, daisies, chickweed,
Lady's mantle, meadowsweet, bedstraw, cinquefoil, mugwort, field scabious,
Cornflower and much more.

Note regarding our analysis:
Please note that due to a harvest area of 400–600 hectares, these are only sample analyses. The results depend on the time of day, area, crop size, and other factors. As this is a natural product, the values can vary from year to year and even within individual bales. Therefore, this analysis should be considered a guideline only.

Gentle harvesting

Before harvesting begins, we check the fields with drones,
to ensure that no wild animals are hiding in the tall grass.
Together with other farmers, we founded the organization "Action

Feeding instructions:

• 1.3 – 1.5 kg of fresh mass daily as a minimum amount to strengthen gastrointestinal health.
• If food is freely available, please check the actual amount consumed.
• If the daily intake of roughage exceeds 1.5 kg per 100 kg of body weight, the energy-protein content of the amount consumed should be adjusted.

The ration depends on the determined needs and the further formulation of the ration, as well as the size/weight of the horse. We cannot give a feeding recommendation suitable for all horses here; please calculate based on your horse's individual requirements or feel free to contact us!
