The organic alfalfa nuggets are a supplementary feed for horses. Due to the increased protein content, they can be used as a supplement to the daily feed ration, e.g., for horses with increased requirements.

The alfalfa is gently harvested and warm-air dried. Controlled drying helps to largely preserve the natural ingredients. 

The pressed nuggets consist of broken long fibers and can be fed dry. They promote intensive chewing and thus act as an occupation snack or extend feeding time.

Storage recommendation:

The organic alfalfa pellets should be stored in a dry place to maintain the best quality for your horse. After feeding, be sure to close the bag properly or transfer the pellets to a suitable container. This will protect the pellets from contamination by small animals such as mice and birds.

Some of you ride in competitions. Therefore, you must pay attention to withdrawal periods and ADMR rules when feeding.

We have compiled a table for you listing the products relevant to anti-doping regulations. Please note that regulations are subject to change, so always check well in advance of participating in a tournament to find out which feeds you can safely give your horses. Products not on the list are permitted without restrictions, subject to change.
